Job Duties and Accountabilities

  • Edit and fact-check opinion pieces, blog posts, and other communication material such as newsletters 
  • Write timely, media-worthy and engaging press releases on CEEW’s reports 
  • Develop interesting story/content ideas for different mediums, social media and readers
    impact stories for CEEW on a regular basis
  • Manage the CEEW blog. This includes commissioning and editing blogs, and ensuring a regular flow of content
  • Ensure the quality of content is maintained as per CEEW standards across different content products.
  • Ensure strict adherence to CEEW branding guidelines
  • Co-create an in-house style sheet with the Editorial Lead
  • Aid in the creation of impact stories from CEEW’s work
    Additional responsibilities:
  • Support the Communications Specialist in managing and strengthening CEEW’s media engagement. 
  • Support the Outreach team on a range of tasks 
    Selection Criteria


  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, or any related field.
    Work experience and other skills
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in editing and writing. 
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality written content for different mediums.
  • Excellent grasp of the English language.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • A big appetite for news and spotting media trends.
  • Demonstrated abilities to manage multiple priorities, projects and internal/external resources in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Strong drive and initiative, a self-starter.
