**Job Description:**
The Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) seeks a Communications Consultant to support the Communications Associate in various activities, including data visualization, infographics, social media posts, and other design-related tasks. The role involves enhancing research outputs with illustrations and graphic elements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Create and fact-check data visualizations and collaterals.
– Develop interactive explainers using low-code/no-code tools.
– Support in curating in-person data-driven experiences.
– Assist in developing a visual style guide for CEEW’s charts.
– Perform design-related tasks as assigned by the Outreach team.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
– Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in communications, design, or related field.
– Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop (with high proficiency in Figma).
– Knowledge of data visualization tools like Flourish and RawGraphs, or vector graphics expertise.
– Strong design sense with attention to layout, typography, and color theory.
– Comfortable working with numbers and proficient in Excel.
– Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
– Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple timelines.
