Job Opportunity For Communications Intern (Editorial) At Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), New Delhi

Job duties and accountabilities:

• Line-editing and supporting editorial products
• Thoroughly fact-checking and proof-reading articles
• Supporting the Communications team in maintaining media databases, creating new databases
• Researching media trends for the sustainability sector
• Supporting the Communications team in developing concept notes and briefs, as well as
• proofreading and editing key documents
• Identifying and creating new media contacts and opportunities
  Selection criteria

Qualification:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in English literature, journalism, and related disciplines
  Work experience and other skills:
• 0-1 year experience in creative writing/copywriting, editing, secondary research and coordination
  Key skills:
• Excellent communication skills — spoken and written English language skills
• Attention to detail and a can-do attitude
• An interest in news and Indian media is a must
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• Ability to adhere to (and manage multiple) timelines
