**About the Role:**  

The Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP), an independent think tank based in New Delhi, seeks a full-time Communications Manager. This role involves shaping policy discussions by effectively conveying research findings to key audiences with clarity, accessibility, and impact.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Oversee the creation and implementation of communication strategies aligned with CSEP’s objectives.

– Analyze performance data using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and MailChimp.

– Manage CSEP’s website, including content uploads and updates using WordPress.

– Lead social media efforts across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube with engaging content.

– Develop innovative strategies to disseminate research for maximum policy impact.

– Conceptualize, draft, and edit key publications like newsletters and annual reports.

– Ensure content meets high editorial standards for clear and consistent messaging.

– Brainstorm ideas and guide the team to enhance internal and external communications.

**Required Qualifications:**

– 5-7 years of experience in communications within a think tank, non-profit, or public policy environment.

– Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field; Master’s preferred.

– Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.

– Proficiency in managing social media platforms and content management systems.

– Strong understanding of web and social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

– Competence in using broadcasting platforms like Zoom and YouTube.

– Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

**Desired Qualifications:**

– Expertise in SEO best practices, including meta tagging and keyword optimization.

– Familiarity with podcast production, including editing and publishing.
