Position Summary: Supporting schools in Pune for effectively implementing computer science curriculum(Coding/Computational Thinking). From Grade 4th to 10th.
● Design, Plan, and Implement curriculum/unit plans/lesson plans that meet the needs of the student with clear, standard-aligned objectives, and appropriate assessments to gauge student comprehension and develop skills like logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.
● Design a plan to encourage students to participate in coding/digital learning competitions/events.
● Designing and analyzing assessment scores of students and also maintaining a digital portfolio of all the projects undertaken by students
● Identifying and Coordinating with different coding curriculum partners and sustaining the partnership in the long term
● Observe other team members to learn more about the school culture, classroom management, content and skill execution
● Working collaboratively with the Digital Learning Core Team.
● Coordinating with the School/IT team to set up the required infrastructure in every school in our network
● Supporting schools and teachers to integrate digital skills in other subjects.
What do you need for this position:
● BCS, MCS, BCA, MCA, B.Sc in CS, B.Ed preferred
● Preferably 3+ years of experience in the education sector as a Computer teacher.
● Proficiency in at least 2 CS languages. (Scratch/Python).
● Sharp knowledge and understanding of computer science and coding fundamentals
● Strong teaching skills and familiarity with ongoing technological trends.
● Strong logical/critical thinking skills.
● Ability to blend technology in the everyday teaching-learning process
● Strong Oral and Written communication skills.
● Good planning and organizing skills.
● Collaborates with different members of the team.
● Creatively thinks of solving different problems at work.
● An enthusiasm to continue learning and improving own knowledge in computing and teaching
