**Job Description:**
The Computer Science Trainer will plan, coordinate, and deliver training and educator development activities across Odisha, India. This role requires close collaboration with the state team and curriculum team to support computing curriculum development, teacher training, and related educational activities for young people (ages 5-25). Responsibilities include:
* Expanding computing education in schools and other educational settings in Odisha.
* Delivering and evaluating teacher training sessions (face-to-face, online, and school visits).
* Collaborating on the development and improvement of computing education courses and programs for Odisha.
* Supporting the teacher nomination/selection process.
* Serving as a point of contact for Odisha educators, fostering a strong educator community.
* Managing logistical aspects of local programs (venue selection, equipment, etc.).
* Supporting partner onboarding for state-level projects.
* Ensuring partner trainers understand and adhere to partnership agreements and safeguarding requirements.
* Supporting the development of monitoring, evaluation, and development tools.
* Building relationships with government stakeholders.
* Representing the Raspberry Pi Foundation to external audiences (blog posts, events, workshops).
**Experience Required:**
* Substantial teaching and learning experience, with a focus on designing and delivering engaging training, ideally in computing education. A teaching qualification is preferred.
* Deep understanding of Odisha’s education system, including curriculum, teacher training, school adoption processes, and the computing education market.
* Significant project and program management experience, including managing large-scale projects and monitoring/evaluation.
* Ability to engage and manage government stakeholders.
* Familiarity with online learning and how technology impacts learning is preferred.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Odia.
* Collaborative, flexible, and solutions-focused approach.
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field.
* Experience working in international organizations is preferred.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and travel regularly within Odisha.
**Salary:** ₹600,000 – ₹1,000,000 per year (INR)
**Basis:** Permanent, Full-time
