**About the Role:**

 

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Coordinator to join our Connectivity Conservation and Conservation Genetics team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our efforts to conserve and restore wildlife corridors and landscapes, ensuring the long-term survival of threatened species.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Assist in the development and implementation of connectivity conservation projects, including habitat restoration, community engagement, and monitoring activities.

* Conduct research on conservation genetics of key species and their populations.

* Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to connectivity conservation and conservation genetics.

* Prepare reports, presentations, and other communications materials.

* Support the development of advocacy and awareness campaigns.

* Collaborate with other WWF-India programs and external partners.

* Contribute to the development and implementation of WWF-India’s conservation strategies.

 

**Required Experience:**

 

* Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology, conservation, genetics, or a related field.

* At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in a conservation organization.

* Strong understanding of connectivity conservation principles and practices.

* Experience in conservation genetics research methods and techniques.

* Excellent data analysis skills, including proficiency in statistical software.

* Strong written and oral communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Passion for wildlife conservation and a commitment to WWF-India’s mission.
