## Coordinator – Connectivity Conservation (& Conservation Genetics)

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Coordinator for Connectivity Conservation and Conservation Genetics. This role will play a crucial part in supporting WWF-India’s efforts to protect and restore wildlife corridors and landscapes, ensuring the long-term survival of endangered species.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist in the development and implementation of connectivity conservation projects, including habitat restoration, wildlife monitoring, and community engagement initiatives.
* Conduct research and analysis on conservation genetics, focusing on population connectivity, genetic diversity, and conservation management strategies.
* Collect and analyze genetic data, using molecular techniques and bioinformatics tools.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials related to connectivity conservation and conservation genetics.
* Collaborate with other WWF-India staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation and knowledge sharing.
* Contribute to the development of policy recommendations and advocacy efforts related to connectivity conservation and conservation genetics.
**Qualifications:**
* Master’s degree in Wildlife Biology, Conservation Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in connectivity conservation, conservation genetics, or related research.
* Strong understanding of landscape ecology, wildlife corridors, and conservation genetics principles.
* Experience with molecular techniques, genetic data analysis, and bioinformatics tools.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Passion for wildlife conservation and a commitment to WWF-India’s mission.
