**Job Summary:**
The Consultant-Communication Officer will play a crucial role in a UNICEF-collaborative project focused on improving school-age children’s nutrition. Responsibilities include developing and implementing communication strategies, creating content (op-eds, press releases, social media posts), coordinating with media agencies and adolescent networks, and supporting report finalization. The position requires strong writing, communication, and project management skills within the context of public health.
**Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for stakeholder engagement.
* Write and finalize op-eds and press releases in consultation with relevant parties.
* Disseminate project information via social media platforms.
* Coordinate with media agencies and adolescent network members.
* Support the finalization of project reports.
* Travel as required.
* Perform other tasks as assigned by the Health Promotion Division/project.
**Qualifications:**
* **Essential:** Master’s degree in Communication, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in developing and implementing communication strategies. Excellent writing and documentation skills.
* **Desirable:** PhD in Communication or a related field. Understanding of communications in public health.
**Duration:** 01 year or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
