About the role

CSF Edtech team has been working closely in multiple states to provide support to the Department of School Education and grantee organisations for the adoption and implementation of appropriate EdTech solutions for the K-12 schooling system across states. CSF is seeking the services of a Consultant-Edtech for a 12-month period to work closely with Rajya Shiksha Kendra, Madhya Pradesh (RSKMP) on two vital Edtech work streams: 

• execution of the digital smart classroom programme research project in coordination with a premier research institution
• Supporting RSKMP in design and effective implementation of a state-wide digital home learning (DHL) programme

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist the team in the creation of the research design for the study.
• Support the research team and the implementation partner for the execution of the interventions of the set research design.
• Manage the programme execution of well-defined mini projects to drive the overall Smart Classroom research project.
• Drive actions and monitoring processes at various levels to drive DHL prog in the state.
• Support in conducting regular review meetings at various levels of state regarding the DHL programme
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with RSK, partners, and CSF team members to drive project execution.
• Create effective presentations and spreadsheets to communicate project updates.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

• 2 to 4 years of work experience demonstrating project delivery on multi-faceted projects in the education/development sector
• Experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects 
• Excellent research skills and the ability to analyze complex qualitative and quantitative data, craft possible solutions, and recommend actions
• Comfort with data, its analysis and reporting as per the audience profile
• Ability to work independently and proactively, without support staff and with little supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ‘can-do’ attitude to work for impact at scale
• Optional: Masters’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields: including education, management, economics, social sciences, and public policy preferred.

Compensation

Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
