**Job Title:** Consultant- Junior Research Assistant

PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with a national presence through its regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research.  IIPH-H, a constituent unit of PHFI, focuses on public health education, training, research, advocacy, and policy development.

**Job Location:** Hyderabad, Telangana, India

**Job Summary:**

The Junior Research Assistant will support a research project investigating challenges faced by healthcare researchers in India and assessing the global impact of Indian research in oncology and vaccination.  The role involves data collection, analysis, report preparation, and logistical coordination.

**Responsibilities:**

* Conduct data collection through surveys and interviews.

* Support data cleaning and preliminary analysis.

* Assist in report preparation and documentation.

* Coordinate logistics for research activities.

* Perform other tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

**Qualifications:**

* **Essential:** Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Sciences, or a related field.  One to two years of experience in research projects. Basic knowledge of research methodologies. Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools. Good organizational and teamwork skills.

* **Desirable:** Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Experience with multi-stakeholder projects and publications in high-impact journals.

**Experience Required:** 1-2 years of experience in research projects.

**Duration:** 11 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
