**Job Description: Consultant – Project Coordinator – Empowering Women in STEM (WeSTEM)**
**Location:** Bhopal, India
**Experience Required:**
– Minimum Master’s degree in science, social sciences, development studies, or a related field with at least 3 years of progressive experience in the area of STEM and/or working with government agencies.
– Alternatively, 5 years of relevant experience can substitute for the Master’s degree.
– Experience in programme management, monitoring and evaluation, coordination, and capacity building is essential.

**Job Description:**
UN Women is seeking a Consultant – Project Coordinator for the Empowering Women in STEM (WeSTEM) project in Madhya Pradesh, India. The successful candidate will support the implementation of the WeEmpower India project, focusing on advancing women’s skills and encouraging their participation in STEM education and careers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Provide technical support to implementing partners for project activities.
– Coordinate with government departments, ITIs, HEIs, and polytechnics to ensure successful project implementation.
– Mobilize companies for job fairs, internships, and apprenticeships for women in STEM fields.
– Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring alignment with indicators and reporting requirements.
– Develop monitoring frameworks, conduct capacity-building trainings, and facilitate exposure visits.
– Support the creation of knowledge products, case studies, and reports to advocate gender equality in STEM.
**Deliverables:**
– Workplan development and implementation with government departments.
– Technical inputs for gender mainstreaming in STEM education and employment.
– Monthly progress reports and quarterly updates on project status.
– Mobilization of private companies for job fairs and internships.
– Capacity-building trainings for ITI staff and gender awareness programs.
– Development of knowledge products, including case studies and evaluation reports.
