**Job Description: Consultant-Research Associate at Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI)**

 

**Location:** Hyderabad, Telangana  

**Position Code:** PHFI-CNST-2507  

**Duration:** 11 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier  

 

**About the Company:**  

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) aims to build a healthier India by strengthening education, training, research, and policy development in public health. Established in 2006 as a public-private initiative, PHFI operates through regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) across India. The foundation is governed by an independent board comprising government officials, academic leaders, civil society representatives, and corporate leaders.

 

**Position Overview:**  

The Consultant-Research Associate role focuses on understanding challenges faced by healthcare researchers in India and assessing global impact in fields like oncology and vaccination. This involves engaging stakeholders through systematic reviews, focus group discussions, surveys, and roundtable meetings to prioritize research needs and propose interventions.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Design and conduct qualitative research protocols.

– Analyze data from focus group discussions and surveys.

– Prepare reports and contribute to publications.

– Facilitate stakeholder interactions and interviews.

– Perform any other tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI).

 

**Qualifications:**

– **Essential:** Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field.

– **Desirable:** Certification in qualitative research methods.

 

**Experience:**

– **Essential:** Minimum 2–4 years of experience in qualitative research projects.

– **Desirable:** Experience with multi-stakeholder projects and publication in high-impact journals.

 

**Deliverables:**

The successful candidate will contribute to the project’s objectives by aligning research efforts with real-world challenges, fostering innovation, and enhancing global visibility of Indian contributions to healthcare research.
