Primary Role of the position:

Consultant – Study on Child Rights & Proposal Development will be responsible for supporting Programme Lead and to be in field to help in research work with the Consultant. S/He will be working with consulting team in the finalization of tools, final reports and the result framework.

Person specifications

Knowledge 

  • Understanding of the socio-economic and political situation at national / state / regional levels with regard to Child Rights and UNCRC
  • Understanding of Caritas India policies, processes and structures
  • Possesses an understanding of current concepts and related frameworks/ approaches to Child Rights in the global / domestic scenario
  • Possesses relevant knowledge on new developments in Child Rights
  • Knowledge of global, regional and national initiatives /guidelines supported by governments, international agencies, NGOs etc. in Child Rights

Skills

  • Ability to grasp and assimilate Child Rights knowledge and synthesize into innovative concepts / programs for implementation
  • Drafting concept notes, strategies or similar technical guidance documents in Child Rights
  • Providing technical support /guidance in programme/project planning, design and implementation, including data collection and analysis in Child Rights
  • Planning, implementing and monitoring capacity building events
  • Effectively engaging with Child Rights on various platforms / networks.
  • Excellent / Good communication skills and articulation of perspective and agenda
  • Developing and maintaining congenial and professional interpersonal skills
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and confidence building among team members

Qualification / Work Experience:  Master’s Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences or related field with work experience with focus on research.

Professional Fee: CTC INR 55,000/- pm
