**Job Description: Content Manager – Pragati Team**

**About Educate Girls:**
Educate Girls is a non-profit organization established in 2007, dedicated to mobilizing communities for girls’ education in India’s rural and educationally backward areas. The organization operates under the framework of India’s ‘Right to Education Act’ with a scalable, replicable, and sustainable program model. Since its inception, Educate Girls has impacted over 18.6 million beneficiaries, enrolling 1.4+ million Out-of-school girls (OOSG) and benefiting 1.9+ million children through its remedial learning curriculum.
The organization is expanding its mission with **Project Pragati**, aiming to create an ecosystem for credentialing 10th grade education and improving life chances for adolescent girls and young women who have dropped out of the formal school system. The goal is to transform 10 million lives in the next decade.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Content Development and Management:**
– Lead end-to-end content creation, including planning, design, and review of educational materials tailored for rural learners.
– Collaborate with subject matter experts, external consultants, and internal teams to develop contextually relevant and aligned content.
– Ensure timely testing/piloting by field teams and incorporate feedback for improvements.
– Develop content suitable for open school exams in rural, camp-based settings.
2. **Training Support:**
– Coordinate with the training team to ensure timely delivery of content for successful program execution.
– Conduct specific training sessions or modules as needed to maintain consistency.
– Finalize training agendas to meet module objectives.
3. **Quality Assurance:**
– Define success metrics and indicators for program phases.
– Collaborate with impact and audit teams to design monitoring tools aligned with program goals.
– Integrate these tools into digital platforms for efficient data collection and reporting.
– Oversee the creation of assessments, including baseline, endline, formative, and mock tests.
4. **Project Management:**
– Develop project timelines with clear milestones and deadlines.
– Track progress, manage resources, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
5. **Relationship Management and Leadership:**
– Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships.
– Champion a collaborative and supportive work environment.
– Gather feedback post-module delivery to enhance content quality.
**Qualifications:**
– Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in program/content management, ideally within the education or NGO sector.
– Strong project planning, resource management, and timeline adherence skills.
– Excellent interpersonal skills with experience managing diverse teams and stakeholders.
– Proficiency in Hindi and English (reading, writing, spoken).
– Attention to detail and strategic vision to align content goals with program impact.
– Willingness to travel frequently (5-7 days per month) for field observations, training, and operational support.
