We are seeking to fill the position of Content Writer in the communication department.

Role and Responsibilities:

Ability to creatively design communication on complex research papers, translate it into a form that is palatable to a larger non-science audience base.
Conceptualize social media campaigns designed to reach a mass audience
Weave art into science communication to raise awareness.

Key Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a content writer with a similar organization.
Ability to think out of the box. Use comics/short stories/diverse visual tolls to engage with pro science citizens
Ability to write, edit and produce high-quality written content in English based on scientific outputs produced by the research teams.
Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Kannada, Tamil and Hindi would be an advantage.
Knowledge of web content management software such as Mailchimp, Hootesuite, Anchor.
Ability to write press releases and maintain relationships with press.

Experience:

2-4 years of experience.

Appointments and emoluments:

Salary will be based on experience and ability. Salaries at ATREE are competitive and at par with other equivalent organizations in the NGO sector. The position will be based in Bangalore.
