Job Description- Corporate Sales Associate

Connectfor is looking to hire an Associate to oversee the sales function of the organization. Connect For ( is based out of Mumbai. We are a lean team of like-minded people who want to instill the spirit of volunteerism in society and create meaning and value for our stakeholders. In the 6 years that we have been operational in this space, we have a network of 39,000+ volunteers and over 500 NGO partners on our platform. We are operational in all metro cities of India.

Roles & Responsibilities

The, Corporate Sales Associate will be responsible for all of the following functions:

  • Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies.
  • Researching prospects and generating leads.
  • Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
  • Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
  • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities. Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Build and maintain professional networks
  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

This would also include:

  • Garnering Corporate Interest for CSR and carrying out end-to-end CSR events/engagements.
  • Researching new service offerings for ConnectFor
  • Working with the team on any ad-hoc requirements
  • Travel on an event to event basis
  • Ability to think of creative and impactful volunteering engagements

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years of sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Clear vision towards strategy
  • Strong verbal and written communicator.
  • Excellent phone and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience working on Google Suit,
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and understand marketing skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results
  • Passionate about sales
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver on deadlines
  • Ability to work independently

Skills Preferred:

  • Strong time management and decision making skills.
  • Adaptability and accountability.
  • Knowledge of the current scenarios in the development sector
  • Fluency in multiple languages

Work Hours

The Associate will be expected to work 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday from 9.30 am – 5.30 pm and any other day during events. Associates will receive 30 days of paid leave annually. Work location would be Mumbai.

Laptop in a working condition and great internet connectivity is required for this role.
