**Job Description: Country Programme Manager (NOC) – Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB)**
**Location:** New Delhi, India

**Experience Required:**
– Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Social Sciences, Education, Gender Studies, Political Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field (or a Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience).
– At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in programme management, including programme design, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation.
– Strong track record in donor reporting, capacity building, and resource mobilization.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience working on Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) and governance issues.
– Experience in leading teams, creating partnerships with stakeholders, and working with Government at the National and State levels.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of UN Women’s project titled ‘Gender Equality Xcelerate: Transformative Pathways towards Gender Justice’ in India.
2. Oversee the development and execution of annual work plans, budgets, and reports for the programme.
3. Ensure alignment with results-based management (RBM) approaches and timely reporting to donors and UN Women HQ.
4. Manage partnerships and resource mobilization strategies for the GRB component of the project.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to the India Country Office, including policy analysis, advocacy, and knowledge building.
6. Monitor programme performance, ensuring compliance with UN Women’s rules, regulations, and policies.
7. Supervise the GRB team, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance assessments.
**Qualifications:**
– Fluency in English, including strong writing skills, is required.
– Fluency in Hindi and/or another Indian language is required.
– Knowledge of another UN official working language (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) is desirable.
