The Coalition for Clear Vision is a group of currently 22 (and growing) corporations and non-profits with one common goal: To give every person on the planet sustainable access to glasses by the end of 2050. One billion people do not have this access today, and the number is growing. Lack of affordable glasses impacts learning, the ability to work, social participation and quality of life.
We plan to build the Coalition’s collaborative muscle by working in two selected countries – Kenya and India. Teams in the countries will address specific systemic barriers and/or opportunities to scale.
The Coalition is looking for a senior contractor to function as the in-country representative and lead the collaboration in India. Key tasks include:
- Assemble our members in India
- Conduct regular meetings amongst Coalition members in country to build trust and collaboration
- Consult the gathered data, systems maps, stakeholder maps, etc,
- Coordinate with members to align agenda and activities to achieve first wins
- Gather additional needed data through a country assessment
- Plan activities, including shared marketing & messaging
- Reach out to stakeholders in the country
- Report back to full Coalition on a regular basis
Qualifications
- Experience in working with multi-stakeholder groups
- Facilitation of meetings, in person and online
- Project management and reporting
- Communication, documentation and organisation
- Work effectively and remotely in a small international team
Contract Period: Up to six month (with a possibility to extent beyond that)
Location: Remote, based in India
Expected hours/month: Minimum 64
Rate: Competitive senior contractor rate, dependent on experience and location
