TITLE: Curriculum & Content Manager  

LOCATION: Preferred: Bangalore,Mumbai, or Hyderabad. Other locations: Delhi

PURPOSE:  The Curriculum & Content Manager contributes to the mentoring experience of our mentors and mentees through the creation of evidence-based and research-backed mentoring activities on a range of topics. They drive the development of activities that will help our mentees learn critical skills that make them work-ready, as well as improve their overall well-being. 

EXPERIENCE: Between 4 – 7  years of content and curriculum development experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

25% Review of curriculum usage and feedback

  • Design and collect feedback on sessions, mentor & mentee experiences & needs
  • Review feedback collected on curriculum to analyse session efficacy. 

50% Research, design, & creation of curriculum

  • Review and assimilate literature on topics of mentorship, life skills, work skills, work readiness, employability, jobs of the future, amongst others, to arrive at key insights that will drive curriculum development.
  • Frame concept notes and session structures to align with Mentor Together’s unique relationship-based approach to skills development.
  • Produce high-quality sessions that combine research with practical learning techniques, for a digital technology medium.
  • Support translations, and work with external translators to have curriculum translated to different languages.

 25% Production, deployment & community management

  • Participate in the design of sessions, along with graphic designers, UI/UX designers.
  • Secure the right vendor contracts for bulk production of curriculum (in-case of physical copies being needed). Work with program teams to manage the production of curriculum for program needs.
  • Manage communications around introducing curriculum to mentors, mentees & team, train around curriculum delivery, provide regular updates on curriculum topics, and support ongoing feedback collection. 

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • A minimum of an undergraduate degree in education, design, psychology, technology or other relevant subjects. Postgraduate degree holders will receive higher preference.
  • At least 5 years of experience, with 3 of those being demonstrable experience building curriculum in the life skills space.
  • Prior experience working on digital learning or in other relevant roles in digital media preferred.
  • Technology savvy, and aware of best-in-class practices in creating beautiful learning experiences for a digital audience.
  • Demonstrably strong oral and written communication skills
  • Very strong analytical and logical skills.
  • Strong work planning & project management skills.
