About the Role:
The Database Associate will support the Schools Program by collating the program data, creating the necessary analytics and maintaining a clean database which can be easily accessible for monitoring progress or reporting. He /she will report to the Impact Manager.
Responsibilities:
Database Management
- Collate data from different spreadsheets maintained by the program staff and make them into a single database
- Run routine health check of data
- Clean data regularly
- Maintain the database, ensure that it is error-free and up to date.
- Conduct training/orientations on data management for program/partner teams and troubleshoot
Data for Donor Reporting and Impact Analysis
- Work closely with the teams for data analysis
- Work closely with program, operations and Hub teams to ensure timely donor/state departments reporting
- Ensure efficient data collection and analysis of data for donor reporting
- Be available to clarify on data for reporting
Dashboard Creation
- Work with the project leads and understand their reporting requirements
- Develop project-wise dashboards by correctly mapping the centres to each donor right at the inception of the project
- Create dynamic, easy-to-read dashboards for the program to track the performance against the strategy and annual plans
- Engage with NGOs and partners to understand data management processes at their end, and build systems at our end that align with these, while enabling timely reporting
Requirements
Qualifications
- Relevant degree with 1+ years of work experience, preferably in a social sector
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with large data sets and make reports
- Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
- Proficient in MS Office tools, and the Internet.
- Knowledge of data analysis software will be an added advantage
