Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:
For GCC Vertical
Strategic Priorities:
- Sustain India’s and nasscom’s leadership position as GCC destination/ enabler of leadership position.
- Enable acceleration in maturity – 70% GCCs (~40% today) in Wave 3 (Portfolio Hubs) and Wave 4 (Transformation hubs)
- Get at least 40% of GCCs in India are active members of nasscom and well engaged.
- Building future readiness to strengthen India’s competitiveness – Skill, Domain, Leadership
- Operational Priorities
- Define and lead Initiatives with Global MNCs with India footprints (Global Capability Centers) and help them scale/ grow from the country.
- Development of a strong GCC ecosystem to attract more investments and building nasscom as a preferred neutral platform to engage and create a strong industry network through thought leadership and consultative approach. Emerge as the go-to person for GCC community within nasscom.
- Work closely with the GCC council and external members to build a stronger narrative for the community.
- Work on the One nasscom approach with members and enable working on all other initiatives incl regional teams, outreach, events, policy, research, nasscom Foundation and DSCI to build on engagements at the regional and national levels.
- Create Segment Specific programs, as needed within GCCs for a focused approach.
- Work with industry and community to raise funds for initiatives and events through sponsorship and partnerships. Ability to work closely with community to conceptualize activities and events for the GCC community including the annual GCC summit.
- Work closely for Member engagement and aid the relationship with GCCs to their increase their participation across nasscom initiatives thereby enabling seamless renewals. Work with the larger community to identify prospects for acquisition of new GCC’s as members and handhold them to be part of the nasscom GCC community.
For BPM Vertical
Strategic Priorities
- Sustain India’s leadership position as BPM destination/ enabler of leadership position.
- Sustain nasscom‘s leadership position & nasscom as the enabler of BPM community across the digital, transactional, CIS, and domestic segments
- Prepare the Industry to be future ready for Digital CX, Gen AI Enable capabilities.
Operational Priorities: - Define and lead Initiatives with BPM companies to help them scale/ grow from the country.
- Development of a strong BPM ecosystem to attract more and more revenue to the country and building Nasscom as a preferred neutral platform to engage and create a strong industry network thru thought leadership and consultative approach. Emerge as the go to person for BPM community within Nasscom.
- Work closely with the BPM council and external members to build a stronger narrative for the community and its contribution to the industry at large.
- Focus on expanding the footprint and penetration of the industry into new geographies – semi urban and rural India and how it can make a difference to the economy.
- Work on the One nasscom approach with members and enable working on all other initiatives incl regional teams, outreach, events, policy, research, nasscom Foundation and DSCI to build on engagements at the regional and national levels.
- Create Segment Specific programs, as needed within BPMs for a focused approach.

- Work closely for Member engagement and aid the relationship with GCCs to their increase their participation across nasscom initiatives thereby enabling seamless renewals. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience: - 15+ years of experience in fast-paced environments with a focus on business operations, project or program management, large account management and client handling skills with an
- Entrepreneurial and customer focused mind-set
- Good exposure to handling CXO/Senior management / Global leadership Teams
- Analytical orientation with working experience in a matrix structure
- Familiarity with business studies / economics / research mindset and ability to conduct primary and secondary research on companies and their strategies.
- Ability to build consensus amongst various stakeholders from an industry standpoint.
- Experience in people management with ability to delegate and manage accountability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be a go-getter with ability to work under minimal supervision and deliver under varied timelines.
- Having worked/ working in a GCC or BPM company would be a distinct advantage.
