Graduates/Post Graduates in Sales/Marketing/Mass communication/MSW with a flair for fundraising or any related field

Experience:
A minimum of 10 – 15 years in a direct sales role where you have been personally responsible for the full sales cycle including prospecting, lead development, proposal writing and responding to RFP’s, order closure and account management. You would have

Detailed Job Description

The Role: APD mandate is to create awareness and sensitivity with all stake-holders including Civil Society, Government, Academia, Health professionals, Researchers, Corporate, Lawmakers, other NGOs, Care-givers and Persons with disability. Towards this end, the Dy. Director Marketing & Communication will be required to:

  • Work with creative teams to make and distribute collaterals. He/ She is also charged with the responsibility of organising events to further the cause.
  • The Dy. Director – Marketing will oversee quality, production and distribution of all communication and collaterals prepared by other Operations/ Programs team to ensure consistent brand positioning under guidance of Director Marketing & Communication.
  • As leaders in the Disability space in Karnataka, APD is often invited to participate in national and international events and as such the Dy. Director Marketing will help lead the initiative with the Director Marketing & Communication.
  • Create and maintain a web presence.
  • Work with Operations and Finance teams to prepare project / Annual budgets and convert it to marketing proposals along with Director Marketing & Communication.
  • Work with IT staff/vendors to design and maintain the Donor Relation Management (DRM) database
  • Maintain database of international and local donors.
  • Engage and maintain relationships with Donors, Government and Corporates
  • Research and develop fundraising opportunities
  • Research to find alternative strategy and resources for long term sustainability of the organization
  • Develop strategies to generate income from various other sources
  • Drive In-house / outsource research.
  • Contact & Build network/relationship with potential individual donors (Especially HNIs) and raise funds for activities of the organization
  • Set financial targets for fundraising activities and develop strategies to attain them.
  • Improve and develop communication & collaterals for APD – Starting with APD Website, Digital assets and other collaterals – brochures, newsletters, annual report, Videos, posters etc.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and board members to prioritise activities to meet organizational goals
