## Deputy Director Membership – Chennai

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Membership team as a Deputy Director. This role will be based in Chennai and will report to the Director of Membership.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional service to member companies in the region, including responding to queries, resolving issues, and organizing events.
* Lead regional council initiatives and drive engagement within Special Interest Groups (HR, CFOs, CEOs, Skill Initiatives, GCC Forum, etc.).
* Conceptualize and implement innovative initiatives and events for member engagement.
* Execute ideas and initiatives strategically developed for the region.
* Grow the membership base by actively recruiting new members.
* Develop and implement outreach strategies for Nasscom events, including delegate registration, sponsorship, and sales of Nasscom research reports and publications.
* Plan and coordinate regional events.
* Facilitate and support national level initiatives and events within the region.
* Manage internal processes related to finance, knowledge management, revenue, and expenditure.
**Requirements:**
* MBA with a specialization in Marketing
* 15-17 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and general administration, preferably in the Tech industry.
* Strong leadership skills and proven ability to drive results.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with senior management.
* Analytical orientation with working experience in relationship and account management.
* Familiarity with business studies and economics.
* Entrepreneurial and customer-focused mindset.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the technology industry in the specified region.
