**Job Overview:**

 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Deputy Manager – Capacity Building to join our team. As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Project Manager in implementing the ‘Equality 4 Progress’ project. This project aims to empower women through capacity building, income enhancement, and mobilization of relevant resources by connecting with stakeholders such as NRLM, government officials, local CSOs, and networks.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* Building and strengthening networks with local stakeholders, positioning, and facilitating convergence with Government Departments.

* Focusing on effective field-level implementation of the project while maintaining a long-term sustainability perspective.

* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and Government Departments.

* Ensuring monthly coalition meetings to ensure the plan of action is being followed.

* Providing support for the strategies of women-led enterprises setup and functioning through coordination efforts.

* Maintaining regular liaison, progress follow-up, and counselling of SHGs and CLFs women (Self Help Groups & Cluster Level Federation) linked under the project components.

* Supervising field staff involved in project implementation and ensuring project progress aligns with agreed milestones and timelines.

* Undertaking any other tasks assigned by the senior management.

 

**Qualifications and Experience:**

 

* Graduation degree required.

* Post-graduation degree preferred.

* 2 to 4 years of experience in the Development Action Domain.

* Strong understanding of capacity building initiatives and community development programs.

* Experience working with women empowerment projects is highly desirable.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.
