**Job Description: Deputy Manager – Climate Action**

**Job Overview:**
The Deputy Manager – Climate Action will assist the Program Manager in coordinating and implementing environment-related projects, with a focus on pollution management. This role involves designing and executing projects, building partnerships, managing stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Design, facilitate, and execute environment projects, campaigns, and corporate employee engagement activities.
– Establish and maintain partnerships with schools, colleges, community groups, corporates, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders for mass awareness events and volunteer mobilization.
– Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, academic institutions, NGOs, and citizens’ groups.
– Develop and implement a Monitoring and Evaluation framework for projects.
– Conduct continuous research on environmental issues and provide inputs for project development.
– Create IEC materials to promote pollution management practices.
– Write reports, presentations, donor reports, social media posts, and other collaterals.
– Oversee budgeting, financial reconciliation, and reporting for project activities.
– Conduct fieldwork in Mumbai and other project locations across India.
– Represent the organization at external meetings, workshops, and conferences.
– Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and international best practices.
**Profile Requisites:**
– Postgraduate degree in Environment Science/Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Studies, Environmental Policy, Natural Resource Management, or equivalent.
– Minimum 5-6 years of experience in managing and executing environmental projects, particularly in pollution/waste management.
– Strong understanding of environmental issues and related interventions.
– Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is an advantage.
– Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills.
– Team player with a willingness to travel.
– Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable development.
– Multitasking abilities, adaptability, and the capacity to work in dynamic environments.
**Remuneration:**
The salary range is ₹8 to 12 LPA, subject to qualifications and experience.
