**Job Description**

 

DA Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Deputy Manager – Government Liasoning** to join our team in **Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh**.  This role is crucial in supporting DA’s projects on rural livelihoods, women-led enterprises, and related schemes and programs. You will be responsible for coordinating with the State Government Offices at various levels, including the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) and other relevant stakeholders. 

 

**Responsibilities**

 

* **Policy and Coordination:**

    * Support DA’s projects, focusing on scheme delivery, outreach, and grievance support mechanisms.

    * Build and maintain strong relationships with State Government Departments, including UPSRLM, Directorate of Industries, State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC), NABARD Regional Office, and other key stakeholders.

* **Knowledge Management:**

    * Collect and share good practices and innovative approaches from across the country, facilitating cross-learning with UPSRLM.

    * Support the development and implementation of a multi-stakeholder Management Information System (MIS) using existing Government resources and infrastructure.

    * Monitor the policy and financial landscape at the State level.

    * Prepare and maintain impact reports, highlighting the policy implications of projects for Government offices and local partners.

 

**Qualifications and Experience**

 

* **Education:** Post Graduation in Economics / Development Studies / Gender Studies / Public Policy / or any related discipline.

* **Experience:**

    * Minimum 2 years (with a Master’s degree) or 4 years (with a Bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in policy integration and liaising with the Central/State Government on rural livelihoods and entrepreneurship projects.

    * Demonstrated experience working with State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SRLM), industry chambers, NABARD Regional Offices, SLBC, local financial institutions, Banking Correspondents (BCs), Yojana Kendras, and other stakeholders. 

    * Experience in facilitating policy and financial support for women-led enterprises, SHGs, and green entrepreneurs is preferred.

    * Strong experience in multi-stakeholder coordination, particularly with communities and civil society.

 

**Skills and Competencies**

 

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Exceptional presentation and drafting skills, with proficiency in MS Office and online collaborative tools.

* Deep understanding of the rural livelihood and entrepreneurship ecosystem, including the stakeholders involved in policy and financing processes.

* Working proficiency in English and Hindi language.

 

**Contract**

 

This is a contract position for 2.5 years, including a 6-month probationary period. The contract may be extended for another 2 years, depending on performance and funding availability.
