**Job Description**

 

DA Group is looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager – Government Liasoning to join our team in **Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh**.  

 

In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating with the State Government Offices at block, district, and state levels. You will be responsible for promoting policy integration and providing support for rural livelihoods and entrepreneurship projects. 

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

* **Policy and Coordination:**

    * Support DA’s projects on rural livelihoods, women-led enterprises, schemes, and programs.

    * Facilitate scheme delivery, outreach, and grievance support mechanisms.

    * Build strong relationships and lead communication and collaboration with government departments, including the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM), Directorate of Industries, State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC), NABARD Regional Office, and other financial and non-financial stakeholders.

* **Knowledge Management:**

    * Collect and share best practices and innovations from across the country with the UPSRLM, fostering cross-learning.

    * Contribute to the development of a multi-stakeholder Management Information System (MIS) using existing government resources and infrastructure.

    * Track progress in the policy and financial landscape at the state level.

    * Prepare and maintain impact reportage with policy implications for government offices and local partners.

 

**Requirements:**

 

* **Experience:** 

    * Minimum 2 years (with a Master’s degree) or 4 years (with a Bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience in policy integration and liaising with Central/State Government on rural livelihoods and entrepreneurship projects.

    * Demonstrated experience working with State Rural Livelihoods Mission (SRLM), industry chambers / State industrial associations, NABARD Regional Offices, State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC), local public and private financial institutions, Banking Correspondents (BCs), Yojana Kendras, and other stakeholders for policy and financial support to women-led enterprises, SHGs, green entrepreneurs, etc. is highly preferred.

    * Proven experience in multistakeholder coordination, especially with communities and civil society.

* **Education:** Post Graduation in Economics / Development Studies / Gender Studies / Public Policy / any related discipline.

* **Skills and Competencies:**

    * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    * Exceptional presentation and drafting skills, with a strong working knowledge of MS Office and online collaborative tools.

    * In-depth understanding of the rural livelihood and entrepreneurship ecosystem at the block, district, and state levels, including knowledge of public and private stakeholders involved in policy and financing processes.

    * Working proficiency in English and Hindi languages.

 

**Contract:**

 

* Contractual position for 2.5 years, including a 6-month probationary period. 

* The contract is extendable for another 2 years depending on performance and funding availability.
