## Deputy Team Leader – Brahmaputra Landscape

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a **Deputy Team Leader** for the Brahmaputra Landscape in Tezpur, Assam. This role will be critical in leading and supporting conservation efforts in the region, working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
**Job Location:** Tezpur, Assam
**Experience Required:**
* Minimum 5 years of experience in conservation, community development, or related field.
* Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
* Strong understanding of conservation principles and practices.
* Experience in working with local communities and indigenous groups.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Team Leader in developing and implementing conservation strategies for the Brahmaputra Landscape.
* Lead and manage a team of conservation professionals.
* Facilitate community engagement and participation in conservation initiatives.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
* Conduct research, monitoring, and evaluation activities to assess conservation progress.
* Prepare reports and presentations on conservation activities.
* Contribute to fundraising efforts for the Brahmaputra Landscape.
* Advocate for conservation policies and initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
* Master’s degree in conservation, forestry, environmental science, or related field.
* Strong understanding of the Brahmaputra Landscape’s ecosystem and biodiversity.
* Proven track record of success in conservation projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
