**Job Title:** Development Organizer (MIS)

 

**Organization:** Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) (AKRSP(I)), a program of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) working across over 30 countries globally.  AKRSP(I) focuses on development initiatives in the areas of Agriculture and Climate Change, Work and Enterprise, and Rural Governance across the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Maharashtra.

 

**Location:** Saran District, Bihar, India

 

**Experience Required:** 2-4 years in the development sector, preferably with experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.

 

**Education:** Master’s degree in Rural Management/Development, Social Studies, Communications, Research, or a related field.

 

 

**Skills & Competencies:**

 

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong reporting and documentation abilities.

* Proficiency in data analysis and management.

* Expertise in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.

* Ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment.

* Strong teamwork skills and ability to multitask.

* Meticulous attention to detail.

 

 

**Job Responsibilities:**

 

* Oversee and undertake program monitoring, evaluation, research, documentation, and reporting.

* Develop case studies, impact studies, outcome studies/research, and proposals.

* Operationalize AKRSP(I)’s Management Information System (MIS), ensuring accurate data collection, quality control, and reporting.

* Conduct regular field visits (minimum 10 days per month) to monitor program implementation and enhance overall program quality.

* Monitor project implementation and progress toward strategic goals.

* Communicate project results to various stakeholders.

* Coordinate internal and external project assessments and visits.

* Manage internships and research studies.

* Conduct MIS/data analysis and provide capacity building to the field team.

* Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to measure project outcomes.

* Support project implementation using data-driven insights.

* Provide data and reports to various offices as needed.

* Submit timely project MIS reports.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.
