Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) – AKRSP(I) is a programme of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) which works in over 30 countries around the world. AKRSP(I) is dedicated to improving the lives of rural communities in India through sustainable development initiatives. We focus on empowering communities through programs in agriculture and climate resilience, work and enterprise, and rural governance.
**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Organizer (Technical) to join our team in **Santalpur Block, Patan District and Vav Block -Banaskantha District, Gujarat**. This role will be responsible for implementing program plans, monitoring project activities, and ensuring programmatic targets are achieved on time.
**Responsibilities:**
* Implement program plans, including on specific themes, and monitor project activities and compliances at the field level.
* Ensure programmatic targets are achieved on time.
* Ensure cost effectiveness of works.
* Ensure quality work execution and result-oriented work execution.
* Ensure community participation in activities.
* Ensure institutional perspective in program.
* Ensure women participation in all activities.
* Follow the implementation strategies in all activities.
* Plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate training programs and related activities for community and field Para worker.
* Document case studies/best practices.
* Ensure timely payments to labor and suppliers for respective vertical.
* Ensure timely settlement of advances, bill vouchers.
* Ensure financial transparency.
* Ensure timely reports and MIS.
* Any other task assigned by AKRSP (I) management.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
* B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Civil.
* Minimum 1-3 years experience (experience in the development sector will be preferred).
**Skills and Competencies:**
* Technical knowledge of NRM.
* Strong knowledge of rural development programs.
* Good command in Gujarati, Hindi and MS office.
* Good community mobilizing skills.
* Efficient in using newer technologies.
* Good Government Liaison Skills.
* Strong Documentation skills.
* Ability to work in a team.
