**Job Description: Digital Banking Analyst**

**Location:** New Delhi, India  

**Experience Required:** Minimum of 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in banking, general finance, agriculture, or MSME finance.  

**About the Company:**  

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has been working in India since 1951, focusing on sustainable development and supporting government initiatives such as the Kisan Credit Card (KCC)/Modified Interest Subvention Scheme (MISS) and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). These schemes aim to strengthen the resilience of Indian farmers by providing access to credit and insurance. UNDP leverages its expertise in systems strengthening to support the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare (MoA&FW) through the implementation of these schemes, with a focus on enhancing institutional capacity, increasing coverage, and improving access for marginalized farm households.  

**Job Purpose:**  

The Digital Banking Analyst will work under the guidance of the Agri Finance and R&D Specialist to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives. The role involves engaging stakeholders, assessing digitization needs, and providing support for the implementation of digital banking solutions in agriculture and rural finance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Review current business practices and identify key risk factors related to digital banking.

– Support the Ministry in the digitization of disbursement processes for agricultural credit and insurance schemes.

– Assess digitization needs and mechanisms for transforming service delivery.

– Collaborate with financial institutions, fintech/agri-tech entities, and other stakeholders to design innovative solutions.

– Liaise with international experts to incorporate best practices in rural digital banking infrastructure.

– Address risks such as fraudulent transactions and phishing scams, providing mitigation strategies.

**Required Skills:**

– Experience in strategic planning, result-based management, and reporting.

– Technical expertise in web-based management systems such as ERP.

– Knowledge of digital payment systems and experience working with regulators like RBI or NABARD.

**Languages:** Excellent oral and writing skills in English and Hindi are required.
