Job Opportunity for Director – COE for Leadership at ILSS in Delhi

Position Summary

Research has shown that right leadership is the most important factor in effective scaling of organizations. The ILSS Leadership Center of Excellence will build best in class knowledge and research around leadership in the context of social sector. The COE will help position ILSS as a premier leadership institute in the sector, help develop leadership programs for the sector and also provide bespoke advisory for organizations in making it happen. The Director of ILSS Leadership Center of Excellence will have 3 broad focus areas:

1. Learning & Development: Teach in programs, indulge in Mentorship & Coaching for alumni of the Leadership Program, Emerging Women Leaders Program and new programs to be launched.

2. Research & IP:

  • Publish flagship research reports, ILSS point of view & narratives, create case studies & tools which could be utilized during/post program by the alumni of the ILSS training programs centered around Leadership.
  • Identify ideas for new programs that can be delivered by ILSS and help shape these programs

3. B2B Leadership services: Do business development and indulge in providing paid advisory/consulting services for Non-profit organizations based out of India. Services could be around org design, succession planning, founder transition, executive coaching.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in the Leadership and Organization Development area as a senior management consultant, academic or HR leader or a combination of these roles.
  • Significant experience in writing research articles, publishing research reports
  • Proven track record of structuring and leading projects in leadership/org development
  • Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes.
  • Experience of building and leading small/mid-size teams
  • Professional qualification in the HR and/or leadership space from a reputed institution
  • Strong Interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience in the not-for-profit space while desirable is not essential
  • Demonstrated experience of contributing in firm and knowledge building
