**Position Summary:**
The Director, Finance will lead the financial strategy, governance, and compliance for Teach For India. Reporting to the Senior Director, Impact & Operations, this role oversees core finance functions including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and donor compliance. The ideal candidate will drive financial excellence, enhance team performance, and support the organization’s mission.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Team Management:** Lead a team of finance professionals, fostering high performance and ethical culture.
– **Process Improvement:** Optimize financial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
– **Systems Integration:** Manage NetSuite and Salesforce integration, exploring automation opportunities.
– **Financial Reporting:** Oversee budgeting, forecasting, income accounting, and statutory compliance.
– **Compliance & Risk Management:** Ensure FCRA compliance, manage vendor payments, and mitigate risks.
– **Leadership & Strategy:** Contribute to organizational decision-making as part of the Leadership Team.
**Qualifications:**
– CA/MBA in Finance from a reputable institute with 15+ years post-qualification experience.
– 10+ years in financial analysis, accounting, and social sector preferred.
– NetSuite experience advantageous.
– Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
– Belief in educational equity and passion for organizational impact.
