• Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having touched ~16,00,000 learners with an average engagement of over 30 hrs each, across 9 Indian states.

• Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving for business & entrepreneurial growth, at scale; having already enabled up to a 27% income uplift for 5000+ entrepreneurs.

About the role: 

We are looking for a self-driven, persuasive & high integrity individual to lead fundraising & funder partnerships for Udhyam. As part of this role they will be responsible for raising funds for current & future needs of Udhyam. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Reach out & connect with potential funders: HNIs, CSR & Foundations in India & globally.
• Researches funders perspectives & priorities to be able to select & focus on funders with close alignment to Udhyam’s vision
• Write persuasive proposals, decks and other materials to convey the Udhyam story, in partnership with Ops, marketing & Vertical teams & leaders 
• Build deep & meaningful funder relationships, to include impact immersion & co-creation sessions and more
• Systematically manage funder reporting
• Diligently manage accounting & compliances for CSR, FCRA 
• Develop growth strategies and plans 
• Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
• Manage internal audits for Process, Product and System to ensure compliances.
• Work with implementation teams on budgets and costing structures for donors.
• Work closely with the M&E team to ensure accurate, transparent and timely reporting to donor partners.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to co-create and execute partner campaigns/events with branding offering to the funder/donors.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Is self motivated and result focussed with very high integrity
• Is an excellent communicator with great writing, presenting & convincing skills
• Has prior experience (5+ years) in raising funds from HNIs, Foundations & CSRs
• Has prior experience (10+ years)  of selling/convincing Businesses
• Builds trust across teams & stakeholders, and resolves challenges & conflicts amicably 
• Is highly organised & is able to manage complexity & volumes
• Has the ability to prioritize and anticipate client expectations to manage projects efficiently
• Is a person with Humility and Passion
