Job Opportunity for Director & Head, Marketing at The Nudge Institute in Bengaluru

About The/Nudge:

The/Nudge is an action institute working towards a poverty-free India, within our lifetime. We partner with governments, markets, and civil society to build resilient livelihoods for all. We are a collective of some of India’s best leaders and entrepreneurs from across industry, academia, government, and development sectors, and our work is organized across three impact streams

• Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE): to enable underprivileged youth access gainful employment
• Centre for Rural Development (CRD): to enable families to come out of extreme poverty
• Centre for Social Innovation (CSI):  to enable a thriving livelihoods ecosystem (talent, capital, infrastructure etc) in India

As Director & Head, Marketing,  you will work closely with the Chief Development Officer to align on the overall marketing strategy and deliver with complete ownership.

At The/Nudge, you will:

• role model ‘the spirit of The/Nudge’ in your action and behavior
• drive our marketing strategy & execution across all marketing functions including brand,
• communications, PR, digital, social, content, design etc
• serve all segments including nonprofits, social & impact entrepreneurs, government, talent,
• donors, etc for our diverse needs across our various Centers, Programs and Hubs
• hire, nurture, mentor, and grow the marketing team and be the marketing evangelist for the entire organization
• build strong marketing infrastructure leveraging tech, data and processes
• collaborate effectively with Centre and Program leads to contribute to programmatic goals through marketing
• partner with the leadership team in shaping the overall strategy and direction of the organization

Apply if you have:

• a graduate degree in any discipline; MBA is preferred
• 15+ years of overall experience, with demonstrated success in marketing in a leadership role
• strong result-orientation, with a history of exceeding expectations
• hands-on, intrapreneurial leadership style, with a growth and learning mindset
• the ability to work independently yet in a collaborative manner in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment
• excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal
