**Job Description: Director of Finance**

**Role Overview:**
The Director of Finance is a pivotal role within the organization, contributing to its future viability and vision. This position oversees strategy, accounting, compliance, taxation, treasury management, and reporting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Provide strategic financial inputs for organizational decisions.
– Design and implement financial and reporting systems to support growth.
– Manage budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring processes.
– Offer insights for data-driven decision-making by senior management.
– Report to internal and external stakeholders, including donors and regulatory authorities.
– Optimize risk, returns, and liquidity in treasury operations.
– Ensure compliance with tax laws and manage organizational risks.
– Review monthly financial results and partner with teams on new initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
– 15+ years of experience in startups or tier 1 corporates.
– Strong modeling and financial planning skills.
– Comfort with technology solutions for financial processes.
– Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) qualification.
– High energy and passion for impactful work.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Knowledge of FCRA/NGO regulations is advantageous.
