The Wadhwani Ignite Program is a key initiative aimed at empowering and activating professionals, post-college, college, and pre-college students by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to start and grow successful businesses. The program utilizes case-study-based experiential education to teach the ‘why, when, and how’ of entrepreneurship.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Director of Strategic Partnerships, who will play a pivotal role in building and fostering strategic alliances to drive the successful deployment of the Wadhwani Ignite Program. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the ecosystem, including Government bodies, state universities, autonomous educational institutions, incubators/accelerators, entrepreneurs, and other foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with Government agencies, state universities, autonomous educational institutions, incubators/accelerators, and other relevant organizations to promote the Wadhwani Ignite Program.

·         Develop a comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem and assess potential partners for collaboration.

·         Work closely with partners to facilitate the successful deployment of the Wadhwani Ignite Program in state universities, autonomous educational institutions, incubators, and other relevant platforms.

·         Provide guidance and support to partners in implementing the program effectively.

·         Represent Wadhwani Foundation in relevant forums, conferences, and events to promote the Ignite Program and establish the foundation as a leader in entrepreneurship education.

·         Collaborate with partners to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of the program’s impact.

·         Provide regular reports to the leadership team on partnership activities and outcomes.

Skills & Experience:

·         10 to 15 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles in the educational ecosystem in India.

·         Proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships in the education ecosystem.

·   Extensive network and connections within the Indian ecosystem, including government bodies, state universities, autonomous educational institutions, incubators/accelerators, and industry leaders.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to articulate the value proposition of the Wadhwani Ignite Program to diverse audiences.

·         Ability to align partnership activities with the overall mission and goals of Wadhwani Foundation.

·         Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

·         Experience in managing and leading teams is a plus.

·         A genuine passion for entrepreneurship, innovation in education, and skills development.
