**Job Title:** District Coordinator – Immunization (GAVI – Zero Dose project)
**Location:** Nalanda (Nawada district will also be covered)

**Experience Required:** Minimum 4-5 years of work experience at district level in programme management, including coordinating, planning, and monitoring community interventions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Support the Program Manager and District Health Team to implement the Full Immunization Coverage (FIC) project for Zero Dose children in Bihar.
2. Influence and support districts to expedite immunization of Zero Dose (ZD) children through special immunization camps, coordinating with all stakeholders.
3. Work closely with district administration, health departments, and development partners for effective planning and management.
4. Mentor Block Coordinators (BCs) and health teams in microplanning, community mobilization, and identifying ZD children.
5. Conduct district-level coordination meetings and workshops to garner support from public health professionals.
6. Provide supportive supervision to BCs and ensure timely reporting and documentation of activities.
7. Organize bi-annual convergence meetings with key line departments under the Chairpersonship of District Magistrate (DM)/Deputy District Commissioner (DDC).
8. Engage with local media, influencers, and youth groups to drive immunization awareness.
9. Undertake field visits for guidance on micro-plan development, community events, and vaccination sites.
10. Maintain a digital repository of program files and ensure timely documentation and reporting.

**Skills & Attributes:**
– Strong understanding of public health programs, routine immunization, and social behaviour change communication.
– Experience in working with grassroots organizations and government stakeholders.
– Proficiency in local dialects (Bihar), Hindi, and English for effective communication.
– Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage diverse stakeholders.
– Knowledge of MS Office and experience in data management.
