**Job Title:** District Coordinator – RHD

This role supports a pilot project focused on improving outcomes for Structural Heart Diseases (SHDs) in children.
**Job Location:** Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
**Project Period:** November 1, 2024 – October 31, 2025
**Job Summary:**
The District Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the implementation of PATH’s “Young Hearts, Strong Futures” project in Lucknow. This role involves close collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and other district-level officials to improve school-based screenings and community interventions for Structural Heart Diseases (SHDs) in children. The position is on a third-party payroll (Randstad).
**Responsibilities:**
* Work closely with the CMO and other district officials.
* Ensure project activities are implemented effectively within the assigned area.
* Coordinate with district and block officials to establish an RHD core committee.
* Organize training for frontline workers and RBSK team personnel.
* Compile, analyze, and report RHD case data.
* Support the planning and implementation of community awareness campaigns.
* Ensure timely referral of suspected RHD cases and proper follow-up.
* Coordinate with district officials and SGPGI for referrals.
* Conduct home visits to counsel caregivers before and after surgical interventions.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
**Essential:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, or Development Studies.
* 3-5 years of experience in public health programs.
**Desirable:**
* Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, or Development Studies.
**Skills and Abilities:**
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internet usage.
* Excellent written and spoken Hindi and English communication skills.
* Good working knowledge of the local language of Lucknow is a plus.
* Experience managing and coordinating with government stakeholders.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, work independently, and maintain accountability.
* Teamwork skills.
