### **Job Description**
**Role Overview:**
The Associate – MLE will support the Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation (MLE) team in Evidence Action’s India Safe Water Now program. Reporting to the State Manager-MLE, this role focuses on implementing M&E activities to ensure high-quality data collection, analysis, and reporting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring M&E activities for the India Safe Water program.
– Develop and manage training plans for internal staff, government officials, and survey agencies.
– Coordinate with survey agencies and EA staff for data collection, validation, and quality assurance.
– Prepare periodic analyses of program data and contribute to reports for internal and donor use.
– Support in documenting best practices, lessons learned, and gaps in monitoring and reporting systems.
– Ensure alignment of data collection tools with program requirements and maintain strict adherence to data quality standards.
**Qualifications:**
– Postgraduate degree in statistics, econometrics, economics, computer applications, or a related field.
– Minimum 3 years of work experience in MLE-related roles, preferably in reputed academic or research organizations.
– Experience with CAPI-based surveys and dashboard/online application development is required.
– Strong analytical skills using advanced MS Excel; familiarity with Stata/SPSS is desirable.
– Fluency in English and Telugu.
– Excellent project management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work effectively in multicultural teams.
**Desirable Skills:**
– Experience managing primary data collection in a supervisory role.
– Knowledge of online data collection tools (e.g., ODK, Kobo Collect).
– Familiarity with WASH sector government systems.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
