Job Description

We are looking for Education Consultant for the Education Consultancy Project based in Nashik. The objective of the project is to transform the existing 102 Municipal Schools (89 primary and 13 secondary) involving 29,000 Children into Smart Schools in an endeavor to improve the quality of education delivery at schools.

Job Responsibilities

This role is a client facing role as well as backend support role and the selected candidate shall be expected to work closely with the client, internal Palladium teams as well as experts onboarded from time to time. The candidate shall be allotted work related to this project or any other project activity in Palladium. The candidate is expected to assist Palladium in driving the project ensuring preparation of quality deliverables as well as assist in day-to-day operations.

• Planning educational programmes for students into primary and secondary classes
• Planning extracurricular activities for students
• Assist client in policy, SOP formulation
• Responsibilities will include analyzing existing curriculum, admin processes, teaching resources and methods, and working with staff to improve upon them. Also, may be required to sit in on classes, examine student results, and write reports.
• Analyzing curricula, resources, student results, and teacher performances, and ensuring that they align with set goals
• Gathering information from educators, support staff, students, and parents
• Closely examining academic systems and reporting to the relevant stakeholders
• Providing workshops and instructional materials to improve lesson delivery and admin processes
• Developing new and more effective curricula, learning outcomes, and teaching methods
• Advising teachers, students, and parents on the effective use of digital learning tools
• Visiting classrooms to observe lessons and provide feedback
• Counselling teacher on how to cope with exceptionally talented students as well as those who require extra attention
• Planning and maintaining the results data in database and generating reports to contribute to quarterly and annual reports to the client/donor agencies/CSR Partners for education sector
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and very good analytical skills and solid experience with Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Office. Statistical analysis applications (SPSS, Stata, Tableau, QlikView) desired.
• Collate, consolidate and prepare M&E reports ensuring that they are submitted on time
• Extract lessons learnt, share knowledge and support the dissemination of good practices, and formulate recommendations to improve overall programme planning
• Assistance in bid process activities
• Preparation of Policies, SOPs, Guidelines and other documents
• Preparation of reports based on inputs gathered (as and when required)
• Preparation of letters to be submitted to concerned stakeholders
• Preparation of documents related to the project
• Preparation of monthly progress reports and review presentations
• Any other activities and documents as desired by the department or Palladium

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Postgraduate/Masters degree in Education
• Minimum 5 years of total experience
• Experience in education sector projects
• Experience in Large Scale Government Project Management with Central Govt/ State Govt/ ULBs
  Speaking, Writing and Reading in Fluent Marathi or Hindi language is preferred
