## Job Description: Executive – Community Investment (Education Projects)

We work with a network of NGOs and corporate partners to deliver impactful programs and initiatives that address critical community needs.
**Job Location:** Mumbai, India
**Experience Required:** At least one year of experience in the development sector (preferred, but not a must).
**Job Overview:**
The Executive – Community Investment (Education Projects) will be responsible for the successful implementation of United Way Mumbai’s education projects. This role involves strengthening processes, preparing budgets, financial reconciliation, monitoring, and evaluation to enhance the quality of learning among children. We are seeking a passionate individual who is committed to improving education opportunities for children in low-income communities.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Manage stakeholders for efficient implementation of project activities, particularly with relevant government authorities for education projects.
* Conduct monitoring and evaluation visits to partner organizations where project activities are conducted.
* Document project activities and outcomes regularly and submit project status reports to donors according to agreed-upon timelines.
* Conduct due diligence and capacity building of partners for the implementation of project activities.
* Prepare regular financial reports and budgets.
* Perform any other responsibilities as assigned.
**Profile Requisites:**
* Post-Graduation in development studies (Majors in Education preferred).
* Passionate about working in and for improving the quality of education among children from low socio-economic backgrounds.
* Self-starter who can lead project implementation independently.
* Organized and able to multitask effectively.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
* Proficient with MS Office Suite.
* Languages: Proficient in English and Hindi (proficiency in Marathi is an added advantage).
* Willingness to travel extensively on the field.
**Remuneration:**
Subject to relevant qualifications, experience, and merit, the salary range is INR 4.5 – 6 LPA.
