Reporting to: Manager – Community Investment

Job Overview:

Project Ankur works on improving learning outcomes for children aged 3 to 6 and parentability skills amongst parents and caregivers. We are looking for a team member who is passionate about working with varied stakeholders & communities to improve ECCE services. The role involves implementing learning activities, creating a robust monitoring & evaluation framework that will enable children to reach their developmental milestones, increase knowledge, attitudes, and practices of parents and caregivers who can contribute to the child’s holistic development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficient implementation of ECCD projects related to improving learning outcomes among school going children
  • Stakeholder management for efficient implementation of project activities especially with relevant government authorities for ECCD projects
  • Monitoring and evaluation visits to the partners where project activities have been conducted
  • Documenting the project activities and outcomes on regular basis and submitting the project status reports to the donor as per the committed timelines
  • Due diligence and capacity building of partners for implementation of project activities
  • Regular financial reporting, budgeting
  • Any other responsibility as and when assigned

Profile Requisites:

  • Post-Graduation in development studies (Majors in Education and ECCD will be preferred)
  • At least one year of experience in development sector (Preferred, but not a must)
  • Passionate about working in and for improving quality of education among children from the low socio-economic background
  • Self-starter who can lead project implementation independently
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Excellent Communication skills – written as well as oral
  • Proficient with MS office

Languages: Proficient in English and Hindi (proficiency in Marathi will be an added advantage)
Location: Mumbai, Willingness to travel extensively on the field

Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the salary range is INR 3.9 – 5.8 LPA
