Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Job Overview:
We are looking for an HR executive to co-work with the internal team at United Way Mumbai and manage every aspect of the employment process, including orientation, maintaining records, and training new team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing vacancy notices and job descriptions in consultation with department heads and circulating the same
- Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
Screen resumes and application forms - Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates and coordinate with respective hiring managers
Facilitating onboarding & orientation - Coordinate for exit formalities
- Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
- Gather payroll data like leaves, working hours and bank accounts
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed
- Participate in organizing events such as celebrations, birthdays, work anniversaries (in coordination with the leadership subgroup)
- Remain updated on employment laws and regulations
Profile Requisites
- Graduate in HRM or similar field, prior experience in an HR role is a plus
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and resume databases
- Experience with MS Office
- Good understanding of full-cycle recruiting
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Organizational skills
Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the salary range is INR 3.6 – 5.8 LPA
