Job Opportunity for Executive – Operations at Bhumi in Chennai

The applicant should be willing to travel extensively within the city and interact/work with stakeholders including beneficiaries, school management, contractors and vendors.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support core team projects related procurement and logistics at optimal cost
  • Co-ordinate and support events
  • Work with Govt         
  • Manage office and stock room cleaning and maintenance
  • Work with volunteer and corporate (Donor)         
  • Visit & shortlist beneficiaries for Bhumi’s programmes
  • Identify and engage vendors, procurement of materials (on need basis) and support procurement to pay
  • Research and Identify relevant venues, secure bookings & manage relationship with venue
  • Organising all logistics including caterers, contractors and equipment hire
  • Maintain vendor KPI and SLA
  • Tracking, reporting and managing of teaching materials and other assets in the learning centres
  • Overall project and office asset management
  • Day to Day Operations

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

  • Work experience – 2 to 4 years
  • Any graduation – Under graduates

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Reasonable interpersonal and communication skills – English & Tamil
  • Basic computer skills – MS Word & Excel – Desirable
  • Experience / knowledge about civil and infrastructure work – essential
  • Resourceful, responsible and self-starting
  • Willingness to travel extensively – locally (fuel expense will be reimbursed)
  • Having a two-wheeler – essential

Other Information:

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Designation: Full-Time Consultant
Expected Age: Below 30 (Preferably female candidate)

Scope: Willing to work flexible hours

Remuneration: CTC 3 to 4 Lakhs p.a. based on the candidate’s profile
