## Job Description: Field Coordinator, Admin and Finance

**About the Role:**
The Field Coordinator, Finance and Administration is responsible for handling all admin and finance related tasks for the OFI Project. This includes managing procurement, vendor management, day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting, handling office expenses, managing cash flow, and supporting in preparing financial reports. You will ensure compliance with internal policies, donor terms and conditions, and statutory requirements.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Payments & Reimbursements, Financial Management & Reporting:**
* Ensure all financial transactions have appropriate supporting documents in compliance with ChildFund policies, donor terms, and internal controls.
* Accurately and completely record accounting entries for all financial transactions, including fund transfers, voucher verification, and journal vouchers.
* Review supporting documents and enter payment requests into the accounts payable module for processing.
* Process all payments within 3 working days.
* Ensure accurate tax deductions and timely deposit of tax amounts.
* Replenish petty cash when it exceeds 50% of the limit or fortnightly.
* Ensure all project finance documents are in order for Assurance/Finance Review.
* **Accounting & Statutory Compliance:**
* Coordinate with the audit team for smooth completion of all audits as required for the project.
* Verify supporting documents as per the payment checklist.
* Review and ensure compliance with FCRA, IT, PF, and PT regulations.
* Adhere to accounting manuals and best practices.
* Monitor preparations for statutory audits and take corrective action for non-compliance.
* Prepare Bank Reconciliation and Month-end reports in a timely manner and submit them to the Grants Finance Officer for review.
* Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.
**Required Experience and Education:**
* Professional or Degree Qualification in Accounts/Finance/Commerce, such as M.Com/B.Com.
* At least 3-5 years of accounting experience in the development sector, preferably with an international organization.
* Willingness to travel to remote locations when required.
