**Job Overview**

 

This is a full-time, fixed-term position located in **Delhi, India**. The Field Coordinator, Programs will play a crucial role in implementing field-level activities for ChildFund India’s programs, focusing on life stage programs, child development, ME KML, and providing technical support to community mobilizers.

 

**Responsibilities**

 

* Coordinate and support the program team in implementing program deliverables on the areas of health, education, and livelihoods, ensuring high impact on children.

* Coordinate all activities relating to children at the field level, including communication with children, maintaining a database of enrolled children, updating information on Salesforce applications, and maintaining corporate status on SR systems.

* Collect and manage field-level data of project activities, support monitoring and evaluation processes, and contribute to reviews and statistical analysis.

* Support the team in planning, coordinating, and tracking progress against agreed indicators.

* Supervise and provide support to Community Animators/Facilitators in delivering their assigned deliverables. Build capacities of Community Mobilizers on required areas.

* Ensure the application of child-friendly tools during consultations and program monitoring.

* Support networking with relevant government bodies, local organizations, Youth Clubs, community leaders, gender inclusive learning spaces, community-based forums, etc.

* Ensure quality documentation and reporting of project activities and outcomes.

* Assume any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

 

**Required Qualifications and Experience**

 

* Post-graduate degree in Social Work/Rural Development.

* At least 5 years of experience in the NGO sector, with a minimum of 2 years implementing community-level activities with supervision from a line manager.

* Strong experience in leading community-level implementation and establishing rapport with local community leaders, PRI members, etc.

* Knowledge of participatory community development approaches.

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Hindi, English, and a regional language.

* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite applications.

* Willingness to travel to remote villages and communities.

* Demonstrated gender sensitivity and commitment to the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children.

* **Other Required Competencies:** Strong knowledge of community mobilization, rapport building, and organization of community and panchayat level activities. Understanding of national and global frameworks on child protection and safeguarding would be an asset.
