**Job Summary:**

 

This hybrid role provides finance, operations, and administrative support to WRI’s Global Equity Program, focusing on the Land & Resource Rights Practice.  Responsibilities include budget management, donor reporting, grant compliance, contract processing, logistical support, and administrative coordination for the Global Director.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* **Financial Management (45%):** Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, update budget software, project future expenses, coordinate financial closeout processes, prepare proposal budgets, and ensure alignment between proposed activities and budgets.

* **Grant Management (40%):** Manage project grants and contracts, ensuring compliance; review and monitor transactions; prepare financial grant reports; create subgrant and contract agreements; communicate with sub-grantees on financial reporting.

* **Administration (15%):** Manage the Global Director’s calendar; arrange travel, including visa applications; prepare and monitor expense reports; provide timesheet guidance to Equity Center staff.

 

 

**Qualifications:**

 

* **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree (relevant work experience may substitute).

* **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in operations.

* **Skills:** Strong process orientation, attention to detail, and sensitivity to quality.

* **Requirements:** Existing work authorization is required. WRI cannot sponsor visas for this position.  For US-based roles, residency in DC, Maryland, or Virginia is required at the start of employment.

 

 

**Compensation:**

 

The salary range for this position is 9.5 L to 12.5 L INR in India.  The US salary range is between 57,000 and 64,000 USD.  Compensation is commensurate with experience and other factors.
