Job Description
The person will take on the responsibility for all accounting & finance related tasks at the office.
He/she will collaborate and work alongside our existing employees and volunteers in completing the assigned tasks.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handle end to end Books of Accounts including data entry into QuickBooks / Zoho Books
- Accounts Payable – Manage daily & periodic payments including statutory payments
- Accounts Receivable – Preparing Invoices and Receivables, issue receipts for all donations
- Provide support in preparing monthly statement of accounts
- Provide support for year-end Statutory audit and Income tax Filing
- Coordination with Auditor / external partners for Statutory filings TDS, GST, EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, ROC etc.
- Manage periodic statutory & legal compliances like FCRA.
- Provide support in preparing donor reports & handling donor audits
Requirements
Education Qualification / Experience:
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Graduate in B.Com / B.CS or any equivalent accounting degree
- Hands-on experience in QuickBooks / Zoho Books or equivalent
- Prior experience with trust / society accounting would be an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge in MS office packages including Excel
- Resourceful, responsible, and self-starting
- Ability to manage data efficiently.
